My fiancé (at the time) was reluctant, and I didn't think he would open up let alone implement the exercises, but he did, and he loved it. She developed a specified plan to help us become better individuals as we become One.
By talking about past experiences in-depth, and recognizing my role in the failure of the past, I was given a road map to repair some relationships, strengthen others and learned to detach from the bad ones by setting healthy boundaries. I was also able to recognize that our relationships are our biggest reflections of ourselves. How you treat others, and how you allow others to treat you speaks volumes. I had to start treating myself better and loving myself so that I could love others properly. I didn't realize men needed Self-Care and Self-Love too.

The pandemic caused me to face issues that I was not even aware of. For the first time, I had to come face to face with ME! Real Talk, it was hard unpacking all of my past hurts. I'm considered “the strong friend”, the one who always has to have everything together. I finally had a safe place to talk and even cry but most importantly to feel vulnerable enough to be ME. I'm not going to lie; I gave her a lot of push-back at first. Once I learned to trust the process, Dr Kimble gave me the tools to set healthy boundaries so I could learn to be unapologetically me, guilt-free.
